Do I need to purchase a license?

JsPlumb Toolkit is commercially licensed software, for which a license is required for all usage with the exception of evaluating the software to determine its fitness for your purpose.

JsPlumb Toolkit is not free for non-commercial or open source usage. All usage with the exception of evaluation usage requires a license.

What type of license hosting do I need?
  • Self Hosting License – If you're hosting the application you build on your own servers
  • Client Hosting License – If your clients will host the application you build, or if it's a mobile or desktop application
  • Enterprise license - If you need more than 10 developer seats, or if you require a custom license, or you're intending to use JsPlumb to build more than one application
Is the license a one-time purchase or does it need renewal?
Developer licenses are perpetual. No renewal is required.
What is a 'Subscription Renewal'?
When you buy a license, you can access 12 months of Basic Support — including free downloads of all new versions and access to our private NPM repository. After a year, you can renew your subscription to keep getting updates and support.
How many developer seats do I need?
You need one seat per developer who writes or manages code using the JsPlumb Toolkit API. If your company requires access to the source code or NPM repository, and/or requires on-boarding or has net payment terms, single seat licenses are not available.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express. Prefer an international bank transfer? Simply place your order online and export a PDF invoice with payment details. Need to issue a Purchase Order? Contact us at hello@jsplumbtoolkit.com
Can I use JsPlumb Toolkit in an open-source project?
Strictly speaking, yes, but keep in mind that JsPlumb Toolkit is commercially licensed—so each user of your open-source app must have a valid license.

When do I need a Client Hosting license?
An OEM license is required if you intend to incorporate JsPlumb into a product that will be distributed to and hosted by your customers. This license offers the greatest flexibility and can be tailored to suit your specific requirements.
